The election aims to speed up SingularityNET's long term movement towards decentralization. We at SingularityNET believe that AI and AGI production should not just be the province of large corporations, designed to maximize profits. We believe in creating beneficial artificial intelligence - and part of the way to do that is to make sure that everyone can contribute to, use, and build upon open source AI technologies. Decentralization will help to develop a fair way to govern these technologies.
The Supervisory Council will be a body of 3 members elected by our community. The Council will work with a carefully selected Task Force to design a Decentralization Blueprint that will guide the development of SingularityNET's decentralized communities. We need experienced people who are committed to SingularityNET's vision of decentralized, beneficial AI and AGI, with a strong dedication to serving our community. By having a community vote on these important positions, Council members will be true representatives of the SingularityNET community!
The Supervisory Council election opens for candidate applications on Tuesday 5th September and will close on Sunday 1st October.
Voting will take place between Wednesday 11th and Tuesday 17th October (inclusive).
